He is the founder of Capital Group Enterprises, which includes Capital Group P3 Developments of Florida. Mario is a seasoned entrepreneur and astute real estate developer, builder, consultant, investor and portfolio owner who has developed and built over 1,000 residential units, 5,000,000 square feet of industrial parks and has owned hundreds of thousands of square feet of office, retail and medical services properties. He has managed his own portfolio, one in excess of 1,000,000 square feet and has conducted business in many countries. Now focused on P3 destination projects.

She is also the Co-founder of Synergy Center and has resided in South Florida since 1979 where she has held significant positions at many recognized real estate brokerage companies including the international firms of Coldwell Banker and Exit Realty. Over her twenty-four-year tenure in the real estate business she has received many professional real estate awards and has been recognized as a “Top Producer” in the State of Florida.

Throughout his career Jim has been very active in giving back to the community, especially working for those who find themselves in difficult circumstances due to social, economic, or educational challenges which limit their opportunities to improve their lives and those of their children.
He has worked often as a volunteer with non-profit service organizations that focus on helping the needy, whether they are victims of natural disasters, the homeless, returning and often wounded active military servicemen and veterans and all those who are in need of a place to live. He has also been active in supporting the arts and in advancing community business development through participation in the Chamber of Commerce community building activities.

His values and focus on service are closely aligned to Synergy Center’s mission to build and deliver health-safe accessible “affordable” housing for those who need it most. As a co-founder and President of Synergy Center, Astrith guides the daily operation of Synergy Center in pursuing and monitoring real estate projects which contribute to our mission of providing affordable housing in Palm Beach and Broward counties. She is the co-founder of Capital Group Realty, a well-recognized firm in the State of Florida. She is especially adroit at identifying real estate development affordable housing projects and the marketing and sales experience to bring homes to qualified buyers. The insights and experience she has gained over the years in helping prospective home buyers provides her a sound basis for her work as Synergy Center Executive Director.. Herb Ammons is a multi-passionate, self-driven individual with an extensive background in project management, entrepreneurship, and real estate. Throughout four decades, he has earned the reputation as a seasoned leader across multiple industries. Herb serves as the Vice President Development & Project Manager at Synergy Center, where he plays a key role in propelling projects from their inception all the way to delivery. As an avid connector, communicator, visionary, and big-picture planner, he is infinitely dedicated to motivating his entire team to greater heights. He is highly analytic and well organized in carrying out his projects utilizing team feedback to maximize successful project outcomes.
In addition, Herb co-owned Gladys Kidd and Associates, Inc. along with his beautiful wife, where he served as a Project Manager focusing on public involvement services for transportation projects. While working in this ever-evolving industry, he spearheaded numerous business development initiatives in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and St. Lucie Counties. Herb obtained his B.S. in Communications from Florida International University.

Dr. Barrette holds an earned doctoral degree from Columbia University. He guides the organizations strategic planning process, directed toward developing and refining Synergy Center initiatives which contribute to our stated mission of providing accessible affordable housing for the residents of South Florida. Gary brings excellent community leadership experience and expert writing skills to Synergy Center, both of which are valuable assets in maximizing our ability to achieve our major goal, to significantly increase access to affordable housing.
He has been active in the non-profit community development leadership arena since becoming a resident of West Palm Beach, Florida in 2002. He was a charter member of Northwood GREENlife and served as the non-profit’s Board President. He served as Board Secretary and later as Board President from 2005-2014 at the Florence De George Boys & Girls Club. Dr. Barrette has also held the position of Associate Director of the Broadway Re-Investment Coalition (2005-2012) and served as an Adjunct Professor in the College of Education, Florida Atlantic University (2004- 2016).
